"TROPICAL WOOD - NO THANKS"

That is our motto to which we always remain true. There are several reasons why we pay close attention to it. On the one hand it is unfortunately not comprehensible under which conditions for humans and nature is cleared / degraded, on the other hand it is of course the fact that tropical wood grows at the other end of the world and has very long transport routes with high CO² emissions.

WPC:

There are really many sensible alternatives that are in no way inferior to the look of tropical wood.

We use a lot of WPC (Wood Plastic Composite) from leading manufacturers. They can guarantee us that 95% is made from high-quality recycled wood and plastic.

Another advantage is that there is no need for sanding, painting or oiling, and expensive WPC special care products are not even required. Most manufacturers also give a 25-year guarantee on fading & stains (* note the manufacturer's guarantee conditions).

Native wood species:

Another possibility is the use of native species such as larch, pine, oak, etc. Here, of course, we make sure that it comes from sustainable clearing. Each type of wood has its individual properties, which we naturally take into account and are happy to advise you.

Natural & concrete stone

Nothing is more durable than real stone. The cheap alternative to real natural stone is cast concrete stone, which often looks confusingly similar.
